Weekly Hitter Rankings: Snakes in the Keystone State

This article is part of our Weekly Hitter Rankings series.

The Diamondbacks are slated to invade Pennsylvania for seven games and Samuel L. Jackson is nowhere to be found, setting the desert dwellers up for one of the more productive weeks on the schedule. The Blue Jays and White Sox also play a full week and project to score a bunch of runs. The Royals and Pirates are the only other clubs with seven games. Pittsburgh will be home the entire week, with four games facing southpaw starters.

Sunday's rainout in Fenway Park gives the Red Sox and Rangers a seventh game this week as they'll play the makeup on Monday, initially scheduled as an off day for both clubs.

The Braves, Tigers, Angels, Padres and Rays only play five games. Take note, it's not an error, Atlanta has Tuesday and Wednesday off while the Padres and Angels have Monday and Sunday off.
