Jazz Top Nuggets To End Four-Game Slide
The Utah Jazz defeated the host Denver Nuggets, 125-102, at Ball Arena on Sunday evening.

The contest got out to a high-scoring start as the Jazz led, 37-33, after one quarter. The visitors kept the upper hand through the second and rallied to a 10-point lead by halftime. The Nuggets came out stronger in the third and grabbed a brief lead late in the quarter, before the Jazz reclaimed a three-point advantage heading into the final frame. The Jazz carried the momentum into the fourth and outscored the hosts by 20 points in the quarter to run away with the road win and snap a four-game slide.

Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz with 31 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals, in 35 minutes. Bojan Bogdanovic followed up with 21 points, four rebounds, five assists and a steal, while Rudy Gobert totaled 18 points, 19 rebounds, two assists and two blocks. The Jazz shot 52.4 percent from the field, including 15-of-39 from long range.

Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 25 points, 15 rebounds, 14 assists and two steals, in 37 minutes. Aaron Gordon followed up with 20 points, seven rebounds, six assists and a steal, while Will Barton tallied 16 points, two rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block. The Nugget shot 44.2 percent from the field, including 11-of-43 from deep.

The Nuggets (22-20) will look to get back on track as they play host to the Clippers on Wednesday. The Jazz (29-14) play host to the Lakers on Monday.
