T'Wolves Defeat Knicks, 112-110
The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the host New York Knicks, 112-110, at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.

It took six ties and 14 lead changes to determine a winner in this game, with Minnesota closing on a 7-2 run over the final 2:12 to prevail. That capped off a 26-19 fourth quarter, with New York missing a game-tying shot and a game-winning three on the final possession of the game. The Timberwolves shot 29-of-38 from the free-throw line while the Knicks hit just 24-of-33. In addition, Minnesota recorded 10 steals and six blocks while winning the turnover battle, 18-12.

The Timberwolves (22-22) were led by Anthony Edwards and his 21 points, two rebounds and three assists. Karl-Anthony Towns tallied 20 points, five rebounds and three assists. D'Angelo Russell registered 17 points, two rebounds and four assists, while Patrick Beverley provided seven points, five rebounds, six assists and three steals. Jaylen Nowell led the bench with 14 points, six rebounds and three assists.

The Knicks (22-23) were led by Evan Fournier, finishing with 27 points, four rebounds and four assists. Julius Randle accrued 21 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and four blocks. Kemba Walker amassed 19 points, two rebounds and four assists, while R.J. Barrett totaled 17 points, six rebounds and two assists. No other player had more than eight points, six rebounds or one assist.

Minnesota returns to action on Wednesday, traveling to face the Atlanta Hawks. As for New York, they return to action on Thursday in a home matchup with the New Orlean Pelicans.
