Payne's Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup

I can't remember two consecutive days where I've been so close to cashing but just missed out. Literally, in one of the $1, 200-man 50/50 contest I finished with 263.75 FPs, while the cutoff for cashing was 264.50. Literally, I was within 5 FPs in almost every contest of cashing but I did manage to cash in a couple of 50/50s. The saving grace was placing 6th out of 920 in the $12, 10K tournament. I entered a lineup that started with Kevin Love, LeBron James and Tyreke Evans and put them cheap players. That placement in the tournament won me $160, covering the $158 I put up in 50/50 games. Still, odd as it sounds I almost would have rather have lost than breaking even. Today I put up $168 in 50/50 contests and I'll mention some players at the bottom I'll be using in GPPs. Here's todays lineup, right now:

PG - Chris Paul, $9700 - After looking at the Vegas lines for the day, I was positive that Paul and LeBron James were going to anchor my teams tonight. Paul is playing in a game that has an over/under of 219.5, the highest of the day. Goran Dragic isn't a strong defensive player and more than 20-10 is within reach.

SG - Tyreke Evans, $6000 - Loved him last night and he'll be the most owned player tonight after just missing a triple-double. I'd guess if you don't have him in your lineup, you're not going to win your cash game tonight.

SF - MarShon Brooks, $3700 - A little risky to go with three Lakers but they aren't all that expensive. Brooks has shot well with the second unit and should see 20-plus Fps.

PF - LeBron James, $10,400 - Do I really need to explain this one?

C - Steven Adams, $3100 - He's only $100 more than the minimum and he's arguably the best center on the court for that game. Just get to 20 FPs Mr. Adams.

F - Wesley Johnson, $5200 - He can fill up the stat sheet and while I don't love the potential matchup with Anthony Davis, I think there's a floor playing him and Kent Bazemore.

G - Kent Bazemore, $4700 - His minutes have come down a little but he's been extremely consistent.

Util - DeAndre Jordan, $7200 - He's been remarkably consistent and his price should be much higher. Easy double-double tonight in a competitive game, high-scoring game.

In tournaments I used Tony Wroten, Reggie Jackson, Alexis Ajinca (my favorite GPP play tonight). I'm still down $330 and risked $168 tonight on 50/50 contests, entering all of the big ones $10 or less.
