While Utah missed out on the NCAA Tournament, the season clearly wasn't over for Smith, who averaged 18.8 points, 9.5 assists and 8.5 rebounds through a four-game NIT run that included two triple-doubles. The senior guard will now have to decide whether or not to take advantage of the free COVID year and return for a fifth collegiate season -- whether that be at Utah or elsewhere.
