Thomas announced Thursday via his personal Twitter account that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at LSU to enter the 2021 NBA Draft.
ANALYSIS
Thomas apparently plans to sign with a non-NCAA-approved agent, which will officially close the door on a return to college. His decision to make the jump to the next level hardly comes as a surprise following an outstanding true freshman season in which he averaged 23.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 three-pointers in 33.9 minutes per contest. The scoring guard is likely to hear his name called in the first round of the draft.
