Banks committed Sunday to St. Bonaventure on Sunday, joining the program as a transfer from Saint Peter's, Adam Zagoria of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
ANALYSIS
Banks was one of a handful of Saint Peter's players to enter the portal following the Peacocks' run to the Elite Eight during the NCAA tournament this season along with head coach Shaheen Holloway's subsequent move to Seton Hall. The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 11.3 points per game over 34 appearances in 2021-22, but he proved capable of operating as one of the Peacocks' top scorers when necessary, including a 27-point affair during the team's upset win over Kentucky in the first round. As a first-time transfer, Banks is expected to be eligible to compete immediately for St. Bonaventure in 2022-23.
