DraftKings CS:GO Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings CS:GO series.

Games (EDT)

  • 12:00 p.m: Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) vs. GODSENT (GOD)
  • 3:00 p.m: Movistar Riders (MR) vs. G2 Esports (G2)
  • 3:00 p.m: FaZe Clan (FaZe) vs. ENCE (E)
  • 6:00 p.m: Team Liquid (TL) vs. 100 Thieves (100T)

Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. GODSENT

The lower bracket of cs_summit 6 opens with NiP and GODSENT and a match that looks likely to end the latter's miracle run to the playoffs. NiP fell to the lower bracket off the back of a 2-0 sweep defeat to Fnatic in the first round of the upper bracket. The Swedes will look to bounce back against the international side of GODSENT, who were demolished by BIG Clan 2-0 in two very convincing maps. GODSENT have done incredibly well to make the playoffs in the hardest group in the tournament and have shown continued growth since the addition of the AWPer farlig, but their run is very doubtful to continue past a strong NiP. If nawwk and Plopski can play to their best and bounce back from Monday's sweep to Fnatic, NiP should have far too much firepower for GODSENT to handle, especially with the good form of hampus and REZ alongside their two stars. These two teams have met once before, in March, and the veto looks likely to be the same: NiP still favor Overpass while GODSENT are still one of the most consistent Nuke teams in Europe. The last time these sides met NiP took a quick 2-0 and, barring a truly heroic performance

The last time these sides met NiP took a quick 2-0 and, barring a truly heroic performance from farlig, Tuesday looks likely to go the same way.

Prediction: 2-0 Ninjas in Pyjamas

  • NiP Players to Target: nawwk ($11,100 Captain, $7,400 Flex), REZ ($10,800 Captain, $7,200 Flex)
  • GOD Players to Target: Maden ($10,500 Captain, $7,000 Flex)

Movistar Riders vs. G2 Esports

The second match Tuesday looks to be nearly as one-sided as the first and could offer some of the best value of the day as G2 Esports come in as huge favorites over a weak Movistar Riders. This match should be incredibly one-sided; barring a massive upset, G2 should dispatch MR in two maps, and should be able to stay alive comfortably in ninth-place decider bracket. The only question mark for G2 is huNter-, the superstar has been in poor form in this event, posting only a 0.98 rating through the group stage, and he will need to turn his performance around if G2 want to continue the form that sees them rated third in the world. The map veto is likely to end up on Vertigo and Inferno, a slightly awkward veto for G2 since their first pick, Dust2, is MR's perma-ban. Overall, the French side should still have far too much skill and far too much firepower to be concerned by a weaker Movistar Riders side barring a miracle performance from mopoz and ALEX.

Prediction: 2-0 G2 Esports

  • MR Players to Target: mopoz ($9,900 Captain, $6,600 Flex)
  • G2 Players to Target: kennyS ($13,200 Captain, $8,800 Flex), nexa ($12,300 Captain, $8,200 Flex)

FaZe Clan vs. ENCE

The third match of the day is the other side of the ninth-place decider bracket, with FaZe Clan and ENCE facing off to play the winner of Movistar Riders and G2. This match looks to be much closer than the first two, and could offer far less value because of it, though there is still a clear favorite in FaZe Clan. ENCE are without superstar prospect Jamppi, who they have to bench for all Valve-sanctioned events due to his lifetime ban that is currently embroiled in a legal battle. If ENCE want any chance to take down FaZe Clan they will look towards Alllu and xseven, both of whom have the potential to take over a match and control it, though against the star-studded FaZe Clan it's hard to see the Finn's having the upper hand. The last two times these teams met, the map veto has been identical, ending on Nuke, Mirage and Dust2, a veto that FaZe Clan have taken both times, with the open maps giving their superstars room to maneuver. If FaZe Clan want to secure their spot in the ninth-place decider final, they will look towards NiKo and broky to continue their good form and overpower the weakened Finnish side.

Prediction: 2-1 FaZe Clan

  • FaZe Players to Target: NiKo ($15,300 Captain, $10,200 Flex), broky ($11,100 Captain, $7,400 Flex)
  • E Players to Target: allu ($12,000 Captain, $8,000 Flex)

100 Thieves vs. Team Liquid

The cs_summit6 playoffs open in North America with 100 Thieves and Team Liquid clashing in the upper-bracket semi-final in what should be the closest match of the slate. Team Liquid come with 2-0 wins over FURIA and MiBR, as well as two losses to EG and a loss to FURIA in their last five matches. 100 Thieves have struggled recently but are currently on a two-match, four-map win streak sweeping Chaos and Cloud9. The history between these two teams is incredible one-sided, dating all the way back to cs_summit4 in May 2019, with Team Liquid winning every single meeting. However, that doesn't paint the complete picture: the last time 100 Thieves took a single map off Team Liquid it was Jan. 11... 2018. If the Oceanic side want to take advantage of TL's poor form and reset that timer, even if for just a map victory, they will rely on jks and Liazz to put together exceptional performances to match NAF and EliGE from Team Liquid. The last two times these teams have met Vertigo has stayed consistent, with 100 Thieves consistently changing their pick between Inferno, Mirage and Overpass. Overall, this veto should favor Team Liquid, history favors Team Liquid and pure skill favors Team Liquid, but if there was ever a chance for 100 Thieves to take a map, it would be Tuesday's upper bracket semi-final.

Prediction: 2-1 Team Liquid

  • 100T Players to Target: jks ($10,800 Captain, $7,200 Flex)
  • TL Players to Target: EliGE ($13,500 Captain, $9,000 Flex), NAF ($12,600 Captain, $8,400 Flex)
