2021 Fantasy Outlook
When the Seahawks selected Eskridge with their first pick - 56th overall - of the 2021 NFL Draft, he became the earliest wide receiver drafted by them since Paul Richardson at No. 45 in 2014. The team needed depth at the position after David Moore signed with the Panthers this offseason, but this decision nonetheless was a bit surprising. While Eskridge was quite productive at Western Michigan with a 34-784-8 line in just six games in 2020, he turned 24 years old in March and stands at just 5-9, 190 pounds. Tyler Lockett already is the primary slot receiver in Seattle's offense, though, so Eskridge's fit into the offense isn't immediately apparent. However, Eskridge demonstrated craftiness in the open field as a kick returner in college, meaning he could make an impact on special teams until he carves out a niche in Russell Wilson's passing tree. Concussion results in IR stint
WRSeattle Seahawks
October 7, 2021
The Seahawks placed Eskridge (concussion) on injured reserve Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Since he sustained a concussion in the season opener, Eskridge has been listed as a DNP on 10 of 12 injury reports over the last four weeks. And on one of those two occasions in which he wasn't, his LP showed up on a practice estimate, meaning the Seahawks didn't even take the field that day. The team has been taking a cautious approach with what coach Pete Carroll called "a real serious concussion," and Eskridge now will have three more weeks to get through the five steps of the NFL's protocol for head injuries before being eligible to come off IR.

This Week's Opposing Pass Defense
How does the Steelers pass defense compare to other NFL teams this season?
The bars represents the team's percentile rank (based on QB Rating Against). The longer the bar, the better their pass defense is. The team and position group ratings only include players that are currently on the roster and not on injured reserve. The list of players in the table only includes defenders with at least 3 attempts against them.
