Nets Use Huge Comeback To Win Over Mavs
The Brooklyn Nets defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 102-99, at American Airlines Center on Tuesday night.

The Nets (17-7) endured a slow start, but they bounced back in the second half and escaped with a huge win over the Mavericks (11-12). Dallas looked good early on and jumped out to a 27-21 lead in the first quarter, an advantage they boosted following a 35-29 score in the second quarter. Brooklyn showed signs of a turnaround and won the third quarter following a 25-24 score in the third, but they were even better in the fourth and pulled out the comeback after a 27-13 score in the fourth. It was an impressive comeback for Steve Nash's men.

Kevin Durant and James Harden led the Nets with 24 and 23 points, respectively. While Durant grabbed six boards, Harden also finished with 12 assists and nine rebounds. LaMarcus Aldridge posted 15 points and five rebounds, while Patty Mills had 10 points as a starter. James Johnson had 12 points, four rebounds and four assists off the bench.

Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 28 points, nine assists and six rebounds. Kristaps Porzingis ended with 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Dorian Finney-Smith posted 15 points and six rebounds. Dwight Powell had 10 points, and Jalen Brunson had 10 points off the bench. Tim Hardaway added 11 points off the bench as well.
