Clippers Defeat Celtics, 114-111
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the visiting Boston Celtics, 114-111, at Staples Center on Wednesday.

While there were five ties and eight lead changes through the first 20 minutes, Los Angeles rode a 39-23 second quarter to their victory. That allowed the Clippers to hold the lead for the entirety of the second half, getting their lead up to 21 points at times. With that said, Boston made a late run to get it down to a one-point margin in the final minute but never took a shot to tie the game. Los Angeles recorded 13 steals and seven blocks while Boston had just 11 steals and three blocks, allowing them to win the turnover battle, 22-20. The Clippers also hit 14-of-32 from three-point range while holding the Celtics to 10-of-32.

The Celtics (13-13) were led by Jayson Tatum, tallying 29 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals. Dennis Schroder collected 19 points, four rebounds and eight assists. Marcus Smart amassed 16 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals, while Al Horford amassed 11 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Josh Richardson led the bench with 17 points.

The Clippers (14-12) were led by Brandon Boston, dropping a career-best 27 points off of the bench. Marcus Morris led the starters with 20 points, four rebounds and two assists. Reggie Jackson registered 17 points, three rebounds and seven assists. Ivica Zubac had 10 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks while Terance Mann compiled 10 points and 10 rebounds as well.

Boston's next game will be on Friday, traveling to face the Phoenix Suns. As for Los Angeles, they're off until Saturday when they play host to the struggling Orlando Magic.
