Lakers Defeat Magic, 106-94
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the visiting Orlando Magic, 106-94, at Staples Center on Sunday.

While there were eight lead changes through the first 25 minutes of this game, Los Angeles rode a 36-10 third quarter to an easy win. That allowed them to hold a double-digit lead for the final 18 minutes of play. Los Angeles shot 49 percent from the field and 46 percent from three-point range while holding Orlando to 38 percent from the field and 34 percent from long range. In addition, the Lakers out-assisted the Magic, 24-17. Los Angeles recorded 12 steals and 11 blocks to Orlando's six steals and four blocks, winning the turnover battle, 18-13.

The Magic (5-23) were led by Cole Anthony, collecting 21 points, six rebounds and five assists. Franz Wagner amassed 20 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Wendell Carter Jr compiled 16 points, eight rebounds and three assists, while Terrence Ross led the bench with 15 points, six rebounds, two assists and three steals.

The Lakers (15-13) got a triple-double from LeBron James, tallying 30 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and three blocks. Russell Westbrook registered 19 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals. Talen Horton-Tucker totaled 19 points, three assists and six steals, while Carmelo Anthony led the bench with 13 points, three rebounds and two blocks.

Both teams return to action on Wednesday, with Los Angeles traveling to face the Dallas Mavericks and Orlando returning home to play the Atlanta Hawks.
