Mavs Come Out On Top In OKC
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the host Oklahoma City Thunder, 103-84, at Paycom Center on Sunday evening.

The contest got out to a tight start, as the Mavericks led by one point, after one quarter. The visitors turned it up a notch in the second and outscored the Thunder by nine, to take a 10-point advantage into the break. Both teams came out strong in the third, where the Thunder managed to shave it down to a nine-point game, heading into the final frame. However, the Mavs took over again in the fourth and outscored the Thunder by another 10 points to run away with the road win.

Jalen Brunson led the way for the Mavs, with 18 points, nine rebounds and three assists, in 31 minutes. Maxi Kleber followed up with 16 points, seven rebounds and two assists while Moses Brown totaled 15 points, six rebounds, two blocks and a steal. The Mavs shot 42 percent from the field, including 9-of-33 from deep.

Meanwhile, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 18 points, four rebounds, five assists and two blocks, in 33 minutes. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl followed up with 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting, while Darius Bazley and Luguentz Dort added 10 points each. The Thunder shot 37 percent from the field, including 13-of-37 from long range.

The Thunder (8-18) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Pelicans on Wednesday. The Mavs (13-13) play host to the Hornets on Monday.
