Celtics Edge Out Bulls In Boston
The Boston Celtics defeated the visiting Chicago Bulls, 114-112, at TD Garden on Saturday evening.

The Celtics jumped out to a great start with a 10-point lead after one quarter, but the Bulls came out better in the second and cut it down to a five-point game by halftime. Both teams came out strong in the third, while the Bulls managed to trim it to just a one-point game heading into the final frame. The Celtics kept the edge to start the fourth, but the Bulls rallied ahead and held a six-point lead with 1:57 left. However, The Celtics came up clutch in crunch time, capped off by two free throws from Robert Williams to secure the win.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 23 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and two blocks, in 40 minutes. Jayson Brown followed up with 19 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals, while Robert Williams III logged 14 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and two blocks. The Celtics shot 49 percent from the field, including 9-of-26 from long range.

Meanwhile, Nikola Vucevic led the the Bulls with 27 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block, in 35 minutes. DeMar DeRozan followed up with 23 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and a block, while Ayo Dosunmu tallied 21 points, four rebounds and 10 assists. The Bulls shot 51 percent from the field, including 12-of-29 from deep.

The Bulls (27-14) will look to bounce back as they take on the Grizzlies on Monday. The Celtics (22-22) play host to the Pelicans on Monday.
