Spurs Defeat Clippers, 101-94
The San Antonio Spurs defeated the visiting Los Angeles Clippers. 101-94, at AT&T Center on Saturday.

It took two ties and eight lead changes to determine a winner in this game, with San Antonio riding a 35-25 second quarter to their victory. That allowed them to hold the lead for all but a few minutes in the second half, finishing the game on a 14-2 run over the closing 7:24 to prevail. San Antonio shot 41 percent from the field while holding Los Angeles to 38 percent shooting. In addition, the Spurs shot 22-of-27 from the free-throw line while the Clippers hit just 6-of-8.

The Clippers (21-23) were led by Amir Coffey, amassing 20 points and five rebounds. Marcus Morris totaled 15 points, six rebounds and five assists. Nicolas Batum generated 13 points and seven rebounds, while Reggie Jackson has seven points and four assists on 3-of-14 from the field. Serge Ibaka led the bench with 10 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.

The Spurs (16-27) were led by Derrick White, providing 19 points, four rebounds, four assists and three blocks off the bench. Dejounte Murray led the starters with 18 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and three steals. Keldon Johnson compiled 17 points and six rebounds, while Devin Vassell and Jake Landale had 10 points and 11 boards apiece.

Both teams return to action on Monday, with Los Angeles returning home to play the Indiana Pacers and San Antonio staying home to face the Phoenix Suns.
