Mavericks Defeat Magic, 108-92
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the visiting Orlando Magic, 108-92, at American Airlines Center on Saturday.

A 32-23 first quarter set the foundation for Dallas in this victory, winning this game in wire-to-wire fashion. In fact, they led by 12 points at the half and carried a 17-point lead into the final frame. They got their lead up to 23 points at times, holding a double-digit lead for the final 20 minutes of play. Dallas shot 12-of-34 from three-point range and 32-of-38 from the free-throw line while holding Orlando to 7-of-26 from long range and 11-of-16 from the charity stripe. In addition, they out-rebounded them, 47-37, while winning the turnover battle, 15-9.

The Magic (8-36) were led by Robin Lopez, dropping 16 points on 8-of-9 shooting. Mo Wagner and Jalen Suggs also had 16 points, providing that production off the bench. Cole Anthony collected 12 points, four rebounds and three assists, while Mo Bamba had six points, six rebounds, two assists and two blocks.

The Mavericks (24-19) were led by Luka Doncic and his 23 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Kristaps Porzingis tallied 19 points and seven rebounds. Jalen Brunson accrued 19 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Tim Hardaway Jr led the bench with 17 points and two rebounds.

Both teams return to action on Monday, with Orlando returning home to face the struggling Portland Trail Blazers and Dallas playing host to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
